Day Cream + Micellar Gel

Hi everybody!

For the past few months, I’ve been using these two products from Deadermine, so I’m really excited to share my review with you. My mom has been using products from this brand for the longest time. Since she loves it so much, I decided to give them a try.

Diadermine laboratories belong to the Henkel company, from Germany. It is responsible for brands like Syoss and Schwarzkopf, both hair-related brands.

Diadermine is well-known in Portugal, especially for their anti-aging products (not the case of the two products this review is about) as well as for their affordable prices. Without further due, let’s get into it!

Mattifying Moisturizer (Day Cream)

Cost: 9,99 €

Skin Type: For normal and combination skin characterized by oily forehead, nose and chin and drier cheeks.

Claims: In response to the specific needs of normal to mixed skin, the DIADERMINE laboratories developed the Matte Moisturizing Day Cream, the ideal care for perfect hydration, perfect matte texture externally and skin in perfect balance.

The Balance Complex gives matte texture in oily parts of the skin and helps it regain its natural balance.

Filters protect the skin against aging.

REVIEW: Overall, I really love this product. It’s affordable and delivers its promises: moisturized and protected skin.

My skin has always been really oily, so finding a moisturizer that doesn’t leave my face super shinny it’s quite difficult. What really made me buy this product in the first place was its claims: fast absorption and protection UVA/UVB, which prevents the premature aging of the skin.

The package also refers the fast results, as I could verify once I started using the cream. I’ve been applying it for 2 months now and I’m really happy with the results. The texture is soft and the scent is light and pleasant.

My skin stays soft all day and the oiliness is controlled (as promised).

However, my skin didn’t become matte. It didn’t get super shinny (which is amazing) but it also didn’t get matte, I would say it looks like something in between. That’s probably the only negative point I have to say about the product.

In general, this mattifying moisturizer cream is an amazing and an affordable option if you have oily/mixed skin. 100% recommend!

Micellar Gel // Let’s Talk Pure

Cost: 5.99€

Skin Type: For oily/ mixed skin (skin is often dull or too shiny with enlarged pores or other blemishes.)

Claims:

– Cleans deep to the skin from environmental pollutants
– Removes the makeup even the eyes
– keeps in balance the skin’s pH
– Without: Parabens, Sulfates, Colorants, Mineral Oils

How To Apply: Massage gently with wet hands across your facial surface. Rinse thoroughly with water.

REVIEW: I’ve been using this gel every night for the past 2 or 3 months and I think it’s okay. It cleans my face pretty well and it gets rid of the oiliness, which was really nice. However, I couldn’t feel any significant changes in my skin.

The gel is colorless and thick. The scent is light and almost imperceptible.

Overall, it’s a nice products that does its job.
